Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with an engineering background to lead our sales efforts in the lithium battery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of lithium battery technology, coupled with proven sales expertise. This role requires a proactive approach to market research, sales strategy execution, and customer engagement to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs within the lithium battery industry.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and present tailored solutions.
- Create frequent reports and reviews with sales and financial data for management analysis.
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing product value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to expand brand visibility.
- Negotiate and close deals while handling customer complaints or objections effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve better sales outcomes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to share insights with internal teams for product and service improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's / master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)/ Business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the lithium battery, energy storage, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of lithium battery technology, energy storage solutions, and industry applications.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as needed.
